Nick Mason, Owner
Nick Mason is a Nashville-based audio engineer, designer, and educator with over a decade of experience in Audio Production and the Pageantry Arts.
As a performer, Nick spent six seasons in marching band, six in WGI, and two in DCI. He marched three years with Chattanooga Independent Percussion Ensemble (2014–2016) and three seasons with Music City Mystique (2017–2019), earning a PIW gold medal in 2017 and bronze in 2019. Nick also performed two summers with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps (2018–2019). At Middle Tennessee State University, he marched with the MTSU Band of Blue Drumline (2017–2018), serving as percussion section leader in 2018.
Outside the marching world, Nick has performed professionally since 2017, including appearances with Brett Eldredge at the 2017 CMT Awards, multiple corporate and convention events for Dollar General, The Nashville Tomato Fest, and the Nashville Pride Parade. He has also recorded for the EA Sports College Football 2026 video game soundtrack and contributed to special projects for Zayde Wolf.
Since graduating, Nick has engineered and contributed to projects including The Cavaliers’ 2020 and 2023 PASIC Clinics, Virtual Arts productions, the California Orchestra Directors Association Virtual Performance series, California All-State ensembles, and numerous independent post-production projects. He has provided live sound, broadcast audio, and pageantry design services for clients such as Timber Creek HS (FL), Ravenwood HS (TN), Audio Theater (TN), Music City Drum Corps (TN), FloMarching (TX), and The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps (IL), where he served as Lead Audio Engineer during their 2023 Fred Sanford High Percussion Award–winning season.
Nick holds a B.S. in Audio Production and Music Industry from Middle Tennessee State University. He is the owner of Mason Audio Solutions, Percussion Director at Ravenwood High School, Audio Department Manager at Synced Up Audio, and Audio Coordinator for Music City Drum Corps. Nick is a proud Innovative Percussion educational artist.
