Kyle Hollen, Audio Engineer
Kyle Hollen is an active live sound engineer based in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to serving as an Audio Engineer at The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, he currently serves as an Audio Engineer and System Technician at Brantley Sound Associates, an Audio Engineer at Music City Drum and Bugle Corps and Audio Theater, an Audio Specialist at Rhythmic Force Percussion in Austin, TX, and consults with multiple other programs and organizations in the Nashville area.
Before he aged out in 2020, Kyle was a member of numerous Open and World Class Ensembles. He began his marching career on bass drum at Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps from 2015-2016, and finished as a member of Colts Drum and Bugle Corps on bass drum in 2018 and aged out as a Drum Major in 2019. Additionally, Kyle spent three years playing bass drum at Rhythmic Force Percussion in Austin, TX from 2018-2020, and served as ensemble captain.
Prior to moving to Nashville in 2020, Kyle resided in Austin, TX, where he was a freelance Audio Engineer and Percussion Ensemble Technician for Dripping Springs High School and Weiss High School. While under his direction, Kyle led both schools to UIL State Marching Competition Finals, Bands of America Super Regional Finals, and won various Central Texas percussion competitions.
Kyle graduated from Austin Community College with an A.S. in Sound Design and Studio Recording, and will graduate from Middle Tennessee State University in May 2022, where he majored in Audio Production with a concentration Sound Reinforcement.
